Huy Do, O.D., M.Ed., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Huy Do graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2018 where he obtained both his doctor of optometry and master of education degrees. He received the BSK Chapter Award for Exceptional Research for his work on ADHD and its relation with convergence insufficiency. Dr. Do then went on to complete a residency in ocular disease and ocular and refractive surgery at Georgia Eye Partners in Atlanta, GA. There, he discovered his interest for anterior segment pathology. He has since returned back to the Pacific Northwest where he is currently practicing at Kaiser Permanente. Dr. Do is a true millennial as he has utilized the social media app, Instagram as a platform for his passion in education. He is the creator of the popular instagram account @optometryreviews where he has built a community of thousands of followers consisting of doctors and students from all around the world. There, he shares and promotes collaboration of unique cases through ocular photography. In his free time, Dr. Do enjoys trying new craft beer and cheering on his team (Go Blazers!) with his fiancee in Portland, Oregon.

Elliott S. Brafman, O.D.

Dr. Elliott Stephen Brafman earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida in 2011, where he graduated with magna cum laude. During his time there, he obtained his bachelors degree in Microbiology. Following graduation, he attended The New England College of Optometry with the Presidential Scholarship and graduated in 2011 in the top 5% of his class. In each of the four years, he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society.  At the end of June 2016, he completed an ocular disease residency program at The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, where he was hired following residency as a full time optometrist. Dr. Brafman currently manages and treats patients with extensive ocular disease and manages pre and post-op cataract, LASIK, and corneal transplant cases. In addition, he was a masked examiner for the CITT trial. He is a co-author of two textbooks and many ocular disease articles. Dr. Brafman is a member of the American Optometric Association.
