Elliott S. Brafman, O.D.
Dr. Elliott Stephen Brafman earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Florida in 2011, where he graduated with magna cum laude. During his time there, he obtained his bachelors degree in Microbiology. Following graduation, he attended The New England College of Optometry with the Presidential Scholarship and graduated in 2011 in the top 5% of his class. In each of the four years, he was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society. At the end of June 2016, he completed an ocular disease residency program at The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida, where he was hired following residency as a full time optometrist. Dr. Brafman currently manages and treats patients with extensive ocular disease and manages pre and post-op cataract, LASIK, and corneal transplant cases. In addition, he was a masked examiner for the CITT trial. He is a co-author of two textbooks and many ocular disease articles. Dr. Brafman is a member of the American Optometric Association.
Srihari Narayanan, O.D., Ph.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Srihari Narayanan is an experienced Optometric Practitioner, Educator and Researcher. He is currently a Professor and Director of Cornea and Dry Eye Service at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry. He serves on various University / National / International committees with leadership roles. Dr. Narayanan teaches a variety of didactic courses and serves as a clinical preceptor for OD students. He provides COPE-approved CE lectures for licensed Optometrists. Dr. Narayanan has been involved in educating Optometrists in several European and Asian countries as well. His research interests include tear film and dry eye disease as well as anterior uveitis. He has several scientific publications and has presented research and continuing education in national and international meetings. Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Narayanan practiced optometry in India and Bahrain.
